Volunteer
Each day in the greater Boston and MetroWest areas, more than 350 people, finding themselves struggling with loneliness, depression, or suicidal feelings, turn to Samaritans in search of the respectful, non-judgmental support that has been the cornerstone of our services since 1974. more
Donate
Over the years, Samaritans has relied on the generosity of a caring community of individuals, foundations and corporations in order to strengthen our suicide prevention programs. We are very grateful for your consideration and hope that you choose to support Samaritans. more
Event Participation
Samaritans events, including our annual 5K in the fall and our Hope Events in the spring, are a great way to get involved in a community of people committed to suicide prevention. Each year more than 3,000 participants and event volunteers help Samaritans raise awareness about suicide and suicide prevention, while generating valuable resources to support our work. more
